West LaVerne Park is available for reserved picnics of up to 300 people. There is a large covered picnic shelter equipped with a kitchen sink, running water, an electric burner stovetop, electrical outlets and picnic tables. For recreation there is horseshoe pits, a playground area and a softball field.
